Watch out – Australian Designers

 

I spy a couple of upcoming brilliant Australian Designers: 

BRODIE NEILL

Brodie Neill is a young dynamic designer capturing the attention of the international design scene with his new and exciting use of form. Only recently having graduated, the 28-year-old Australian has quickly built up an impressive collection of international exhibitions and prestigious clientele.

carbon / fibre / Swarovski crystals

A Swarovski-inspired desk with seamless fluidity partly encrusted with crystals. The dynamic form’s undulations are detailed with a mix of dark crystal colours and effects contrasted against the smooth graphite table surface.

KORBAN/FLAUBERT

 

Korban/Flaubert is a design and production office founded in 1993 by metal specialist Janos Korban and Architect Stefanie Flaubert.  In 2001 Korban and Flaubert set up their current studio/workshop/showroom in the industrial suburb of Alexandria in Sydney.  They describe the workshop as ‘a laboratory of form’, in which they playfully explore the cross-over between geometry and nature.
